Never eat before excercising.

So after telling my host father I was interested in football (soccer), he got me into a league to play in. So Friday night (the 22nd), he told me I would be playing in a x-mas tournament in a town called Jogampichu. So we hopped onto a bus at 8:30 in the morning on Saturday. At first I was sitting in the back w/ a bunch of big older guys and everyone was speaking spanish at a pace faster than I could understand (and they were using lots of slang). One guy asked if he could see my white and blue cleats and I said sure. He was like wow they're white. And he passed them forward w/ everyone commenting on how pretty they were. I was like they are white because I am really fast and all of you need to be able to see me.

So we got off the bus and walked up a hill (the theme of my trip) to the field. Then I watched the first half of the kid's game while half my team smoked a joint. After the first half I went to see where the other half of my team was. They were drinking beers. So they let me start in the first game and it was like 90ish degrees with humidity so I was done after 25 minutes.

The host town then served us chicken, tortilla, and rice for lunch and a green sugar water. So we started our 2nd game. I had 2 breakaways w/ one on ones with the keeper and failed to score. No luck at all.

After that game my host father was going to drive me back on his motorcycle, after drinking 3 beers.... So we eventually got back (after stopping for 2 more beers). I decided to wash my clothes instead of paying the 2 or 3 dollars for someone else to do it. Then there was a disco at the big town hall at night. I watched what the normal dance was. Imagine Will Smith from Hitch doing his little step back and forth for 30min to 1 hour. So I tried it and got bored. Then I went back to crazy dancing. Instead of cooking a pizza, yo cocino una tortilla. I showed my host mom. Then there were more gringos crazy dancing with me and it was fun while people stared.
