So I've been back from Guatemala for a while, met some people from various parts of Illinois on my trip back. I also had Guatemala's finest chicken for about 4 bucks, a hotel room by the airport for 12 or so, (all these prices are american), and a generally awesome trip for about 1000 dollars total including airfare, housing, food, spending money, etc. that lasted about four weeks. But I lost my camera and about 175 pics.
I've been working hard all semester and finally spring break rolled around. My brother and I road tripped to the Mammoth Caves and another national park called Big South Fork. That was until Tuesday when we started a 6 hour ride back through rain and hilly terrain of Tennessee and Kentucky.
Going through Louisville, we realized Kentucky had no sports teams other than the UofL sports (hence the sign Welcome to the 'Ville). It was kind of ridiculous the way their stadiums, and campus was pretty much a continuation of the city.
Now I should be getting back to my study on muscle fibers/sarcomeres.
(The reason I haven't been keeping this blog up is the following. I signed up for my mandatory rhetoric class. I received a reincarnation of an SS guard from Nazi Germany in afro-american female form. We have all realized how your poetry career failed and you are a lonely grad student from pittsburgh, one of the worst cities in America. STOP GIVING US 10 PAGES A WEEK OR MORE FOR HOMEWORK! Hence my writing ability has been pretty much drained on that, taking notes for chemistry, notes for MCB, stupid spanish ejercicios, etc.)
